Sebelas Patriot is a story about heroic struggle. Ikal , the little boy. He live in Sumatera, Belitong. In this story writer tell about football.

On one day Ikal found an old picture of a man, wore football custome, held shinning champion cup, but looked so sad. He is curious, who he is, why he looks so devastated after winning a game? He asked her mother, but she only told him to put the picture, back to where it belong. Ikal kept it silently, and determined to found out the story of the man in the picture.

the man in the photo is Ikal father’s very love football. He is a player of football when he still young. Although, he is very great players but after that he can not play football again. It because his knee is broken by deutch. Because deutch unhappy football tem compagnie defeated team indonesia with goal from his father.

Hear the story from someone about his father. Ikal want to love football like his father. First ,he want to become PSSI player. But, it fail. And the end, after passing in University of Sorbone, France.Ikal or Andrea Hirata wan to Spain. He want to buy costum of Real Madrid FC.It because his father love Real Madrid. So, Ikal want to make his father happy.
